The European route 821 is a 19.5 kilometer long European route of the intermediate network, which connects the motorway ring of Rome ( Grande Raccordo Anulare (A90) ) with the Autostrada A1 near San Cesareo in the Italian region of Lazio .

The European road branches off at the junction with the A1 diramazione Roma Sud from the motorway ring (here: European road 80 ) and runs in an east- south- east direction until it meets the A1 autostrada (here: European road 45 to Naples ).
