Course of the road

The Europastraße 576 (short: E 576 ) is part of the European trunk road network. The 58 km long European road that runs from south to north in Romania leads from Cluj-Napoca to Dej in the Cluj district .

Route

In the Transylvanian Basin , the road leads partly along the Little Somesch ( Someșul Mic ) - a source river of the Someș - in a northerly direction from Cluj-Napoca ( Klausenburg ) through the towns of Apahida - Jucu - Iclod - Gherla ( Neuschloss ) to Dej ( Burglos ) .

The E 576 connects the E 60 , the E 81 and the nearby A3 motorway with the E 58 at Dej near Cluj-Napoca .

Originally the road led via Bistrița ( Bistritz ) to Suceava ( Suczawa ) and was 300 kilometers long.
