The European route 98 (short: E 98 ) is one of the shortest European roads with a total length of about 60 kilometers, which is located exclusively in the south-western part of Turkey . It starts in Topboğazi via the D-825 to the northeast. The road leads from Topboğazi to Kırıkhan . From there the D-827 branches off towards the Syrian border , on to Reyhanlı . The border town of Cilvegözü is passed before the border .

The European route 98 crosses the Hatay province alone . The entire route is not developed as a motorway.
