Germany

In future, the route will correspond to the federal motorway 94 (A 94) up to the German-Austrian border . However, some of this is still under construction or in the planning stage. The A 94 currently extends from the Munich-East motorway junction to the Marktl junction near Burghausen . There the A 94 turns back into the B 12. This section will also be replaced by the A 94 in the future. In Simbach am Inn , the E 552 crosses the German-Austrian border with the Inn .

Austria

Coming from Simbach, Europastraße 552 runs on Altheimer Straße (B 148) through Braunau am Inn, past Altheim , to the Innkreis Autobahn (A 8) at Ort im Innkreis . Together with the E 56 , the E 552 now follows the course of the A8. At the Wels junction , the E552 turns onto the Welser Autobahn (A 25), and then ends at the West Autobahn (A 1) south of Linz . There it meets the European routes 55 and 60 .
