The European route 711 is an approx. 105 kilometer long European route that connects Lyon with Grenoble . It runs roughly in a north-south direction starting at Bron , a suburb southeast of Lyon on the route of the Autoroute A43 .

The E 15 exits at Saint-Priest . At Bourgoin-Jallieu , until then it had shared the route with the E 70 , the E 711 then changes to the A48 autoroute . Past Rives and Voiron , the E 711 follows the course of the Isère . The E 713 branches off north of Voreppe . At the triangle with the A480 autoroute , the E 711 finally changes to the E 712 north of Grenoble at Saint-Égrève .
