The European route 962 (short: E 962 ) runs from Elefsina on the Attic peninsula northwards through Greece to the Boeotian city of Thiva .
The expansion standard does not yet always correspond to the requirements of the AGR (European Agreement On Main International Traffic Arteries), the legal basis of the European road network.
On the Ethniki Odos 3, the E 962 begins at the junction in the north-west of Elefsina with the A 6 . She passes Mandrá and crosses the city of Erythres . It continues over the western Attica into the historical region of Boeotia. A few kilometers later, Thiva, the ancient Greek Thebes, is reached. Via the motorway slip road Ethniki Odos 3a, the E 962 finally reaches the A 1 , which is on the same route as the E 75 .
