The road at the Torugart Pass
The European route 125 (short: E 125 ) runs from Ischim in Russia in a south-easterly direction via Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan to the Kyrgyz-Chinese border on the Torugart Pass .
In Russia it bears the numbers 71A-1011 and 71A-1109 as a regional road, in Kazakhstan to Petropawl as a trunk road the number A12 (entire section Ischim - Petropawl until 2010/2011 R403), to Nur-Sultan (until 2019 Astana) the number A1 , to Almaty the number M36 as the main road .
