The European route 003 (short: E 003 ) is an approximately 1000 km long European route of the intermediate network in Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan .

The European route 003 begins in Uchquduq , where it branches off from the European route 004 , and runs from there in a westerly direction via Daşoguz , where it crosses the European route 40 , and from there in a southerly direction to Ashgabat , the capital of Turkmenistan (junction with the European route 60 ), and further south to the border with Iran .
