The European route 577 (short: E 577 ) is part of the European trunk road network. The European road in Romania from Ploieşti , the district capital of the Prahova district , runs in a north-easterly direction to Buzău , the district capital of the district of the same name . The road is a section of the planned Romanian A5 . It also forms the Romanian national road Drum național 1B . It is also known as the Romanian Wine Route .

The European route 577 was established in 2004 and connects the E 85 at Buzău with the E 60 at Ploieşti. The former E 577 is today's E 584 ( Poltava - Slobozia )

Route

In the north of the city of Ploieşti, from the municipality of Blejoi , the E 577 runs in the historical region of Great Wallachia ( Muntenia ) over the Prahova river , through the towns of Valea Călugărească , Albeşti-Paleologu , Mizil and in the Buzău district , through the municipalities of Săhăteni , Ulmeni and ends at Buzău.

The București – Galați – Roman railway runs along the E 577 .
