course

The road begins in the capital Bucharest and runs in an easterly direction, initially essentially parallel to the Autostrada A2 European route 81 , via Pantelimon and Lehliu Gară , then moves away from the motorway to the south and leads via Ceacu , where the Drum național 31 branches off to Oltenița , to Călărași on the Danube . A ferry takes you to Silistra in Bulgaria on the right bank of the Danube.
