The Drum naţional 74 ( Romanian for "State 74", shortly DN74 ) is a main road in Romania .

The road branches off in Brad from Drum național 76 (also European route 79 ) to the east and runs via Crișcior and further to the northeast through the Bihor Mountains over the Vulcan Pass 750  m to Abrud (Großschlatten), where the Drum național 74A to the north branches off, turns there to the southeast and runs through the Transylvanian Ore Mountains to Zlatna (Kleinschlatten) and from there further east to Alba Iulia (Karlsburg), where it meets and ends at Drum național 1 ( European route 81 ).

The length of the road is around 105 kilometers.
