The Drum național DN 79A ( Romanian for “National Road 79A”, DN79A for short ) is a national road in Romania . It forms a less traveled connection to Hungary .
course
The road branches off in Vârfurile in a west-northwest direction from Drum na Richtungional 76 ( European route 79 ) and essentially follows the course of the Crișul Alb (White Screech) , which is initially a valley in the low mountain ranges (north of the Codru Moma Mountains, south of the Munții Zarandului), but later flows through the flat Pannonian Plain . It leads through Gurahonț and further through the city of Ineu and crosses the European route 671 in Chișineu-Criș (also Drum național 79 ). From there it continues to the Romanian-Hungarian border in Vărşand and in Hungary as the main road 44-es főút via Gyula to Kecskemét .
The length of the road is 127 kilometers.
