The road branches off in Biharia ( Hungarian Bihar ) north of Oradea ( Greater Oradein ) to the northeast from Drum național 19 (also European route 671 ) and runs via Sălard and the junction of Drum național 1P near the village of Cenaloş after 3 km southwest of Marghita located village of Chiribiș , where it meets the Drum național 19B coming from Săcueni and ends at this.
The length of the road is around 37 kilometers.
A section of the A3 Autostrada (“Bechtel Autobahn”) is under construction parallel to the road .
