The road branches off in Găeşti from Drum național 7 to the north and runs over the district capital Târgovişte , where it crosses Drum național 71 and turns to the east, and on via Dărmăneşti to Ploieşti . There it ends at Drum național 1 ( Europastraße 60 ).
