The Drum național 39 ( Romanian for "National Road 39", DN39 for short ) is a main road in Romania that runs along the Black Sea .

The street starts in Constanța at the intersection of Drum național 2A and Drum național 3 . After a few kilometers the Europastraße 87 branches off , from here the DN39 also bears the designation Europastraße 87. Shortly after the junction with the Drum național 39E the road crosses the Autostrada A4 and crosses the Danube-Black Sea Canal .
Shortly after the intersection in Agigea with Drum național 38 ( European route 675 ), the road in Eforie runs between the Black Sea and Techirghiol Lake , before passing the towns of Olimp , Neptune , Jupiter and Saturn . After Mangalia it crosses the Lacul Mangalia and then reaches 2 Mai and Vama Veche before it ends at the border crossing Durankulak-Vama Veche .
