The Drum național 1C ( Romanian for “National Road 1C”, DN1C for short ) is a main road in Romania . In its southern section it is part of the European route 576 , in the further course from Dej the European route 58 and from Livada at the same time the European route 81 .
course
The road begins in Cluj-Napoca (Klausenburg) and first runs east to Apahida where the drum naţional 16 branches off. It then runs north via Gherla to Dej , where Drum național 17 (continuation of European route 576 and also section of European route 58) branches off to the east and follows the valley of Someșul Mare (Great Somesch) . The DN1C turns to the northwest, follows the valley of the Someș (Somesch) downstream, leaves it and leads via Șomcuta Mare to Baia Mare (Frauenbach) , where the national roads Drum național 18B and Drum național 18 branch off to the east. Via Tăuții-Măgherăuș and Seini it continues to Livada , runs here for 4 km together with Drum național 19 , now also forms a section of European route 81 and reaches the border with Ukraine north of Halmeu , behind which a continuation leads to Berehowe .
The length of the road is around 216 kilometers.
