The Drum național 2B ( Romanian for "National Road 2B", DN2B for short ) is a main road in Romania . In its section between Brăila and the border with the Republic of Moldova , the road also forms part of European route 87 and European route 584 .

course

The road begins in Spătaru on the southwestern outskirts of Buzău , where it branches off from Drum național 2 (also European route 85 ). It runs east through the Wallachian Plain , runs through the cities Făurei and Ianca and meets on the southwestern edge of Braila on the drum naţional 21 (both European Route 584 ), bypassing Braila in the west, crossing the Siret and meets in Şendreni on the drum naţional 25 , then follows the Sereth to Galați . There the Drum național 26 branches off to the north. The DN2B continues parallel to the Danube , crosses the Prut and thus the border with the Republic of Moldova and, as a Moldovan drum public național M3, leads to Giurgiulești , the Moldovan Danube port.

The length of the road is around 152 km.
