The Drum național 22B ( Romanian for “National Road 22B”, DN22B for short ) is a main road in Romania . It forms the shortest connection between the cities of Galați and Brăila .

The street begins in Galați , where it branches off from Drum național 2B (also European route 87 ). It runs to the south parallel to the left bank of the Danube , crosses the river Buzău near its confluence with the Danube and ends after around 15 km in Brăila on Drum național 22 (European route 87), which crosses the Danube here by ferry.
