The road branches off at Aldeşti from Drum naraional 7 ( European route 81 ) and runs on the edge of the Southern Carpathians in a generally easterly direction over the town of Curtea de Argeş to the Targului valley , where in Schitu Goleşti on Drum național 73 ( European route 574 ) meets and ends at this. In Curtea de Argeș the DN 73C meets the Transfogarascher Hochstraße (DN 7C).
