The road in Little Wallachia (Oltenia) begins at Drum național 56A near Salcia , from which it leads in a north-westerly direction near the left bank of the Danube to Burila Mare , where it meets Drum național 56B , which leads to the Danube and at Iron Gate 2 power plant crosses the border into Serbia .
