In Craiova, the road branches off from Drum naraional 6 ( European route 70 ) to the east and runs via Balş , where it crosses the Olte Fluss River , the bridge over the Olt (Alt) river to the district capital Slatina . From there it continues through the Muntenia , takes in Albota 13 km before the district capital Pitesti the Drum naţional 65A and continues to Pitesti, where she started on the short drum naţional 65B hits and finally into the drum naţional 7 opens which runs parallel to Europastrasse 81 .
