In the town of Piatra Neamț the road branches off from Drum na Pional 15 to the east, after around 1 km separates from Drum național 15C , which leads further north, and leads via Girov and Dulceşti to Roman , where it crosses Drum național 2 ( European route 85 ) . From Roman it runs in an east-southeast direction via Băceşti along the Bârlad River and Negreşti in the Central Moldau Plateau (Podişul Central Moldovenesc) to the district capital Vaslui . There it meets the drum național 24 and ends there.
