The Drum național 57 ( Romanian for “National Road 57”, DN57 for short ) is a main road in Romania .

In Moravița (Morawitz) in the Banat, the road branches off to the east from Drum național 59 (also European route 70 ) and runs near the Romanian-Serbian border to Oravița (Orawitz) , from where the Drum național 57B continues east towards Styria , turns to the southwest (with a border crossing over the short Drum național 57C near Naidăș to Kaluđerovo and Bela Crkva in Serbia ), continues south over the Locva Mountains into the breakthrough valley of the Danube ( Clisura Dunării ) to Pojejena , where the next Drum național 57A , leading up the Danube, branches off, and continues along the left bank of the Danube via Moldova Veche , Svinița and Dubova to Orșova , where it ends at Drum național 6 (also European route 70).

The length of the road is around 201 kilometers.
