The Drum național 76 ( Romanian for "National Road 76", DN76 for short ) is a main road in Romania . The street also forms part of the European route 79 .
course
The road branches off in the municipality of Șoimuș (Falkendorf) northwest of Deva from Drum național 7 ( European route 68 ), crosses the current (2016) end of the A1 autostrada and runs in a north-westerly direction over the city of Brad , where Drum național 74 to Alba Iulia (Karlsburg) branches off, and further in the valley of the Crișul Alb (the White Screech) through the Munții Zarandului to Vârfurile , where the Drum național 79A that follows the Crișul Alb branches off to the west. The road now changes into the valley of the Crişul Negru (Black Screech) and leads via Vaşcău to Lunca , where the Drum național 75 goes east into the Apuseni Mountains . The city of Ștei is reached immediately north of Lunca . The road leaves in Beiuş the Crisul Negru and leads to the northwest more than Sâmbăta to Oradea (Oradea) , where the drum naţional 1 ( European route E60 applies) and ends at that.
The length of the road is around 184 kilometers.
