The Drum naţional 24A ( Romanian for "National Highway 24A," short DN24A ) is a main road in Romania .

The road begins around 6 km north of Bârlad , where it branches off to the east from Drum național 24 (also European route 581 ). It runs through the hills of Dealurile Fălciului after Murgeni where the of Galati coming Drum naţional 26 hits them, and turns there to the north, while about the right bank of the border with Moldova forming Prut follows and crosses Fălciu , where only the railroad crosses the border with Moldova, the Prut continues upwards until it ends in Huși on Drum național 24B (also European route 581), which merges into the Moldovan Drum public național M1 on the Prut .
