The Boree Islands comprise two small islands off the coast of the East Antarctic Enderbyland . They are 3 km west of Point Widdows .
Aerial photographs taken in 1956 as part of the Australian National Antarctic Research Expeditions were used to map the islands. The Antarctic Names Committee of Australia (ANCA) named them after the popular term Boree for the acacia species native to Australia .
