Tylecodon hallii is a species of the genus Tylecodon in the family of thick-leaf plants (Crassulaceae).

description

Tylecodon hallii grows as a dwarf and sparsely branched shrub with a round crown. The plants reach heights of up to 30 centimeters and have a thick main shoot that is up to 8 centimeters in diameter. The side shoots reach 5 to 7 millimeters in diameter and have a smooth bark that is gray in color. On younger shoots it is provided with darker spots, on older shoots it is darker and peeling. The leaves, which are bare or only slightly covered with glandular hairs, are light green and are huddled at the tips of the shoots. They are curved inwards and are 15 to 25 millimeters long and 3 to 4 millimeters wide. The leaf blade is linear to linear-lanceolate, petiolate to almost petiolate. It tapers towards the base and the tip is blunt.

The inflorescence is formed by thyrses up to 6 centimeters high , each with 1 to 5 monochasia and upright single flowers on a 5 to 7 millimeter long peduncle. The triangular sepals are up to 9 millimeters long. The tubular and yellowish corolla tube is slightly bulged at the base and widens towards the top. It is covered with glandular hairs and becomes 10 to 20 millimeters long and 5 millimeters wide. The extended to recurved tips are up to 8 millimeters long.
