The Mount Stubberud is a 2,970 m high mountain in the Antarctic Ross Dependency . It rises 3 km southeast of Beck Peak from a mountain ridge that extends from the northern Nilsen Plateau in the Queen Maud Mountains .
The United States Geological Survey mapped it based on its own measurements and aerial photographs of the United States Navy from 1960 to 1964. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named the mountain in 1967 after Jørgen Stubberud (1883-1980), carpenter and member of the landing team at the South Pole expedition (1910–1912) by the Norwegian polar explorer Roald Amundsen . The committee referred to the named by Amundsen, but not assignable mountain Mount J. Stubberud .
