The European road 982 (short: E 982 ) is a relatively short European road that connects the important Turkish port city of Mersin to the network of European roads.

The European route 982 begins in Mersin and runs eastwards from there on the O-51 motorway to Tarsus . At the Tarsus-Ost motorway junction ( O-21 / O-51 ), the E982 joins the Europastraße 90 .
