The Gjelstad Pass is a 1280 m high mountain pass on South Georgia . In the Allardyce Range, it lies between Mount Corneliussen and Smillie Peak . It is the only pass discovered so far that allows overland access to the area south of the Allardyce Range.
The South Georgia Survey mapped it as part of its surveying campaign, which lasted from 1951 to 1957 .
