The European route 842 is an Italian European route that leads from Naples on the Tyrrhenian Sea via Nola and Avellino to Cerignola on the Adriatic Sea . It has a length of 260 km and runs in the regions of Campania and Puglia .

The start of the Europastraße is at the junction of the A1 / A16 motorways . At Nola it crosses with the A30 . Passing the provincial towns of Avellino and Benevento, the E842 reaches the Adriatic after 260 km and ends at the connection to the A14 / E55 .
