The European road 871 (short: E 871 ) is a European road running from west to east and leads from Kumanovo in North Macedonia to the Bulgarian capital Sofia . It is 170 km long.

The E 871 begins at the Kumanovo motorway junction, where it changes from the M1 or E 75 eastwards to the M2 semi-motorway . The road leads through the valley of Kriva Reka and after Kriva Palanka reaches the North Macedonian-Bulgarian border. On the I / 6 , the E 871 then continues to Kjustendil and over the Struma towards Pernik . To the east of Pernik, the E 871 joins the E 79 until it reaches the Sofia city ring near Bojana.
