The European route 92 (short: E 92 ) is a European route running from west to east and runs exclusively through Greece through the regions of Epirus and Thessaly from Igoumenitsa on the mainland side of the Strait of Corfu along the A2 motorway , coinciding with the E90 , to Ioannina , from there on via national road 6 to Trikala (starting at the Panagia junction, part of the municipality of Trikala) via Larisa , then on the same route with the A1 to Velestino , then via the A12 to Volos on the Pagasean Gulf . The future A3 , which will not only take up the E65, is to take up the route of the E 92 from Mourgani if necessary also directly from the planned triangle Panagia to Trikala.
The expansion standard does not always correspond to the requirements of the UNECE European Agreement on Main International Traffic Arteries (AGR) , the legal basis of the European road network.
