The European route 272 begins in the south on the European route 85 in Klaipėda , runs through Palanga , Šiauliai , Panevėžys and Ukmergė and ends in Vilnius (dark green on the map). From Palanga to Šiauliai it forms the Lithuanian highway Magistralinis kelias A11 , from Šiauliai to Panevėžys the Magistralinis kelias A9 , from Panevėžys to Vilnius the Magistralinis kelias A2 .
