Saint-Victor-Malescours is located in the Velay , a landscape in the French Massif Central , and in the Forez about 17 kilometers south-southwest of Saint-Étienne on the Semène , a tributary of the Loire . Saint-Victor-Malescours is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Saint-Just-Malmont in the north, Jonzieux in the northeast, Marlhes in the east, Saint-Romain-Lachalm in the south and southeast, Saint-Pal-de-Mons in the south and southwest and Saint- Didier-en-Velay to the west.
