Chenereilles is a French municipality with 325 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Haute-Loire in the region Auvergne Rhône-Alpes . The municipality belongs to the arrondissement of Yssingeaux and the canton of Boutières (until 2015: canton Tence ). The inhabitants are called Chenereillois .
geography
Chenereilles is located about 30 kilometers east-northeast of Le Puy-en-Velay on the Lignon du Velay , which borders the municipality in the north. Chenereilles is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Lapte in the north, Tence in the east and south-east and Saint-Jeures in the south and west.
