Saint-Julien-du-Pinet is located in the Velay , a landscape in the French Massif Central , about 17 kilometers northeast of Le Puy-en-Velay . Saint-Julien-du-Pinet is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Retournac in the north, Beaux in the northeast, Yssingeaux in the east, Bessamorel in the east and southeast, Le Pertuis in the south, Rosières in the west and southwest and Mézères in the west and northwest.
