The European route 13 (short form: E 13 ) is a European trunk road that runs from North England through Yorkshire to London . The route begins in Doncaster and then runs through Sheffield , Nottingham , Leicester , Northampton and Luton to London.
The E 13 essentially uses the same route as the M1 motorway . As a European route, the route of the E 13 is not signposted. The E15 is of greater importance within the framework of the European road network .
