Vicente Castellanos y Núñez (born August 5, 1870 in Mazamitla , Jalisco , Mexico , † April 2, 1939 ) was Bishop of Tulancingo .

Life

Vicente Castellanos y Núñez received the sacrament of ordination for the Zamora on October 20, 1894 .

On February 7, 1912, Pope Pius X appointed him Bishop of Campeche . The Archbishop of Durango , Francisco de Paula Mendoza y Herrera , gave him episcopal ordination on April 21 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the Bishop of León , Emeterio Valverde y Téllez , and the Bishop of Zamora, José Othón Núñez y Zárate . The inauguration took place on May 23, 1912. On August 26, 1921 Pope Benedict XV appointed him . to the bishop of Tulancingo.

On September 16, 1932, Vicente Castellanos y Núñez resigned as Bishop of Tulancingo and was appointed Titular Bishop of Marciana .
