Francisco de Paula Mendoza y Herrera (born November 14, 1852 in Tingüindín , Michoacán , Mexico , † July 23, 1923 ) was Archbishop of Durango .

Life

Francisco de Paula Mendoza y Herrera received on 21 November 1875 sacrament of Holy Orders .

On January 7, 1905 appointed him Pope Pius X to the Bishop of Campeche . The Archbishop of Antequera , Eulogio Gregorio Clemente Gillow y Zavalza , gave him episcopal ordination on February 2 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the Bishop of Tulancingo , José Mora y del Rio , and the Coadjutor Bishop of Zamora , José de Jesús Fernández y Barragán . The inauguration took place on February 20, 1905. On August 7, 1909 Pius X appointed him Archbishop of Durango. The inauguration took place on November 12 of the same year.
