Jaime Anesagasti y Llamas , also Jaime de Anasagasti y Llamas , (born May 23, 1863 in Santa María de Mundaca , Basque Country , Spain , † October 3, 1910 in Campeche , Mexico ) was Bishop of Campeche .

Life

Jaime Anesagasti y Llamas received on November 3, 1886 by the Archbishop of Guadalajara , Pedro José de Jesús Loza y Pardavé , the sacrament of Holy Orders .

On November 4, 1909, Pope Pius X appointed him Bishop of Campeche. The Archbishop of Guadalajara, José de Jesús Ortíz y Rodríguez , gave him episcopal ordination on December 12 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the Bishop of Colima , José Amador Velasco y Peña , and Titular Bishop Laureano Vérez de Acevedo SJ . The inauguration took place on January 4, 1910.

On October 3, 1910, Jaime Anesagasti y Llamas died in Campeche as a result of malaria .
