Francisco María González y Arias (born August 12, 1874 in Cotija , Jalisco , Mexico , † August 20, 1946 in Cuernavaca ) was Bishop of Cuernavaca .

Life

Francisco María González y Arias received on 4 April 1897, the sacrament of Holy Orders .

On April 21, 1922, Pope Pius XI appointed him . to the Bishop of Campeche . The Archbishop of Antequera , José Othón Núñez y Zárate , gave him episcopal ordination on June 11 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the Bishop of Veracruz-Jalapa , Raphael Guizar Valencia , and the Bishop of Chihuahua , Antonio Guízar y Valencia . The inauguration took place on August 22, 1922. On January 30, 1931 Pius XI appointed him. to the Bishop of Cuernavaca. The inauguration took place on May 6th of the same year.
