The French Autoroute A 43 is a motorway in eastern France that connects Lyon to Italy via Saint-Jean-de-Maurienne and Modane through the Tunnel du Fréjus . It is managed by AREA and SFTRF. It is also known as the Autoroute alpine or Autoroute de la Maurienne .
