Busto Arsizio ( Büsti Gràndi in the local West Lombard dialect) is an Italian commune ( comune ) in the province of Varese in the Lombardy region .
geography
The municipality is located between Milan (35 km southeast) and the southern end of Lake Maggiore near Sesto Calende (about 30 km northwest). It covers an area of 30.27 km² . The localities of Borsano and Sacconsago belong to Busto Arsizio . The neighboring municipalities are Cassano Magnago , Castellanza , Dairago (MI), Fagnano Olona , Gallarate , Legnano (MI), Magnago (MI), Olgiate Olona and Samarate .
