Germignaga is an Italian commune ( comune ) in the province of Varese in the Lombardy region .

geography

The municipality is located at the confluence of the Tresa and Margorabbia rivers on Lake Maggiore right next to Luino. It covers an area of ​​6  km² . The factions Ronchetto , Ronchi , Fornace , Casa Moro and Mirandola Nuova belong to Germignaga . The neighboring municipalities are Brezzo di Bedero , Brissago-Valtravaglia , Cannero Riviera , Luino and Montegrino Valtravaglia .
