The municipality is located about 13 kilometers west-southwest of Varese on Lake Comabbio and on the south bank of Lake Months . The covers an area of ​​4.76  km² . Comabbio includes the Monte Pelada , Cascina Zerbino , Careggio , Cascina della Palude and sito delle Querce fractions .
