Rancio Valcuvia is a municipality ( comune ) in the province of Varese in the Lombardy region .

geography

The municipality is located about 12 kilometers north-northwest of Varese on the Rancina and Parco regional Campo dei Fiori and covers an area of ​​4.48  km² . The fractions Cantevria, Mulino, Ronchetto and Scela belong to Rancio Valcuvia. The neighboring municipalities are Bedero Valcuvia , Brinzio , Cassano Valcuvia , Castello Cabiaglio , Cuveglio , Ferrera di Varese and Masciago Primo .
