Arcisate is an Italian commune ( comune ) in the province of Varese in the Lombardy region .

geography

The municipality is located about 5.5 kilometers northeast of Varese and covers an area of ​​12  km² . The fractions Brenno Useria and Velmaio belong to Arcisate . Arcisate is the main town of the Comunità montana del Piambello .

San Vittore Campanile

The municipality is located on the state road 344 from Varese to Lake Lugano and includes the districts of Brenno Useria and Velmaio and the hamlets of Casale Baranzello, Mirabello and Roccolo. The neighboring municipalities are: Bisuschio , Cantello , Cuasso al Monte , Induno Olona , Valganna , Varese and Viggiù .
