The Busto Arsizio train station ( Italian : Stazione di Busto Arsizio ) is the train station of the northern Italian city of Busto Arsizio . It is operated by Rete Ferroviaria Italiana , a subsidiary of Ferrovie dello Stato . It lies on the Domodossola – Milan line and is connected by a track to the Busto Arsizio Nord station , which is on the Novara – Seregno der Ferrovienord . The station is a stop on the S5 line of the Milan S-Bahn, regional trains Milan - Arona and Milan - Varese and regional express trains Milan - Domodossola .
Busto Arsizio's first train station was opened in 1860 and was located on today's Viale Duca d'Aosta . The route was re-routed in 1924 and removed from the rapidly growing city center to the eastern edge of the city.
