Daniele Crosta (born May 5, 1970 in Busto Arsizio ) is a former Italian foil fencer .
successes
Daniele Crosta won bronze with the team in Cape Town in 1997 at the World Championships . In 1999 in Bolzano he was European champion with the team and won the following year in Funchal with this bronze. At the Olympic Games in Sydney in 2000 , he finished 23rd in the individual competition. Together with Gabriele Magni , Salvatore Sanzo and Matteo Zennaro , he secured the bronze medal in the team competition. After an opening win against Ukraine, the Italian team lost to China in the semi-finals . The battle for bronze was won against Poland with 45:38.
In 2000, Crosta was made a Knight of the Order of Merit of the Italian Republic .
